Crusaders blow out C-Port Trojans

The Carolina Crusaders of Columbia, SC hosted the C-Port Trojans of Savannah, Georgia in their second meeting.

 

The Crusaders welcomed back Cory Etheridge & Andrae Belton, two of their top shooters who have been absent in their last few games. The Crusaders jumped into the lead early as the Trojans battled to contain their energy. Etheridge & Belton combined on eight 3-pointers to help pace the Crusaders scoring, by the conclusion of the game.

 

Seven of the 10 Crusaders finished with double figures as the Crusaders coasted to a 157-118 win over the Trojans. The win moves the Crusaders to 8-0 overall and also in position for a first round bye in the playoffs. Two of their remaining four games they will look to defeat the SC All-Stars of Spartanburg, SC to claim the ECBL Southeast Division regular season title and possible Southern Conference top seed.
